At La Borde en Sologne
I recently had the pleasure of capturing a magical proposal in the heart of Sologne. Joseph reached out to me with a special plan—he wanted to propose to his girlfriend, Lauren, at a beautiful French castle. So, I packed my gear and drove 2.5 hours from Paris to La Borde en Sologne, where Joseph had arranged everything perfectly, even booking me a room.
When Lauren and Joseph arrived, the castle's receptionist led Lauren to their room, where a gorgeous dress was waiting for her. Without knowing what was about to happen, she was told to put on the dress and head downstairs. Meanwhile, Joseph changed into a sharp suit and waited for her by a picturesque green tunnel on the castle grounds.
As soon as Lauren appeared, Joseph led her into the tunnel and, in the most romantic way, got down on one knee. Of course, she said yes! We then spent the afternoon wandering around the castle, capturing beautiful moments with the stunning backdrop of Sologne.
Two days later, we reunited in Le Marais for a chic Parisian photo session, adding another layer of romance to their story. This was an unforgettable experience, and I’m always thrilled to travel anywhere to document your love stories <3
